CONCEPT

Three hours from New York, three hours from Boston, a little more than three hours from Burlington, and only six hours from Toronto, Birch is not only a getaway for New Yorkers in the Catskills, but it targets all the big metropoles within a driving distance from it.

Biophilia and post-luxury dictate the design concept of the Birch Resort. Birch has a vanguard touch, understanding that opulence and extravagance are overrated and wants to bring the post-luxury concept delivering freedom, planned space, and possibility.

 

Birch offers luxury as an emotional and an intellectual pleasure providing exceptional comfort, and close contact with clients. The post-luxury concept that Birch presents understands that luxury is time, authenticity, personalization, belonging and experiences.

Partnership plays a big role in the concept behind Birch with brands that represent the goal of our hotel creating opportunities through a web of support with the local community.

The vision behind Birch is to deliver a healthy, relaxing, and organic environment in the shape of a modern resort using rustic elements such as wood and concrete, representing the earth;  glass representing the air; a few pops of warm earthy tones, such as ochre, golden mustard, terracotta, crimson and warm corals representing fire, all designed in harmony and trying to have as many open spaces as possible, offering good circulation, representing the fluidity of water. Birch is all about connection. The real connection.
